It’s actually not incredibly stupid at all considering the show is not exactly based on Matthew but based on the Matthew Perry types, ie Bob Saget, Charlie Sheen etc. Death isn’t really predictable either so how would his death have to do with being inspiration or not? Bojack doesn’t die?
