I don’t think there is anything shady with him. His family knows he is nearby and want to see him. They call and she doesn’t answer so they keep calling. They are both very strong and he doesn’t like when she comes at him so strong. Specially when he comes from a very macho culture. I think there is a language barrier as well as cultural. Her Spanish is good compared to other cast members but it can be hard to understand sometimes.
