Did anybody else feel as though there might have been some streaming service related reasons that they focused all of the negative comments upon Disney and Kathleen Kennedy, while completely ignoring shows that are on Max and Paramount?

I get that Paramount probably wouldn’t like them poking fun at their own content, but I would assume Paramount would find Max to be fair game and there are plenty of examples of pander culture on that.

I would have really appreciated a vicious dig at Velma and was almost expecting it after seeing the way that they were handling the alternate universe kids.

I’m not accusing them of anything, but I do wonder if their content is going to be more corporate-friendly due to the streaming wars.

Also, I think it would have been really cool for them to at least reference the female Ghostbusters reboot and how the final product was deliberately designed to troll the people who we’re giving it shit for being made. I think it would have really helped to push home the point that this push and pull between the woke and anti-woke communities feeds off of each other.

I don’t know, just some random thoughts.

South Park Bigger Longer and Uncut was also designed to shit on the people who were mad about it getting made, it’s possible they have some respect for that sort of belligerence.
