Not to jinx it, but she’s made so much progress! She was able to sit Gino down on the couch, identify what she was feeling, and then have a calm, respectful discussion explaining what she was thinking, that she was sorry and regretted it, and also inviting him to be honest about the fact that he lied too (because he did). And even when he got defensive and denied lying (again, he did) she didn’t get reactive. Her emotions showed up in the conversation, she was clearly upset (which is absolutely fine), but she didn’t allow her emotions to control her. It was really touching to see her communicate in a heathier way. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like that progress continues in the next episode, but I hope it’s something she continues to work on because she was doing so well!
What I heard is her saying was that she should not have done it ANYWAY but especially knowing now that he quit his job she realizes how wrong it was of her because it’s allowed her to see how selfish she was. It wasn’t shifting blame, it was acknowledging that new information shaped her perspective, as it does for all of us. As far as the money from Dane, that’s a whole other can of worms. I’m in now way justifying her behaviour, what she did sucks, I’m just appreciating the progress in having a calm, rational conversation without insults or screaming.
Isn’t it kinda wild you need to appreciate the fact that she’s not screaming or insulting and just talking like… an adult? Lol

I agree, the bat is extremely low for this couple. They’ve done nothing but scream at each other for I don’t even know how many seasons. Just talking like and adult shouldn’t be noteworthy, but here we are.
