A lot of this is cultural and she hasn’t put forth the effort to understand. EVERY Hispanic individual in America is sending money back to their family. It is part of being a family member. You’re doing well? You need to help out others. My father came here when he was 19 and he sent money back home until every single one of his 11 brothers and sisters and their parents made it over here. So for that, I blame her for not understanding or trying to understand. $300 isn’t a lot either, but I can see how it might be above their means since she is now supporting him.

I agree Manuel is an asshole and probably not here for the best reasons, but I also find her overbearing and masculine as fuck and again, it’s cultural, men don’t like that in Spanish speaking countries. The only person that can baby or nag them is their mother, not their wife. Mutual respect is important. I haven’t seen one moment of her even trying to be nurturing (although I suppose that’s boring tv)

what ACTUALLY bothers me the most is Manuel not treating the damn dog like a family member. I know US people take the cake with spoiling their pets, but acting like Ashley has a choice to go spend money on a vet bill is disgusting. I’m not gonna let my dog suffer or not get what he needs for you, because he was here first, so deal with it. Dogs don’t talk back or say their life is privada lol
