I loved the first book so much. The next three were good too but Obernewtym was magical. I discovered it in 1999 and remember going online to order the next three books to be shipped from Australia (i think?) because although i knew a US publisher, Tor, had them scheduled, I couldn’t wait. I never knew there were more after the four books.

I picked up the Doomsday Book when Covid first hit. Then salved my wounded spirit with To Say Nothing of the Dog. Love Connie Willis.

A Wrinkle in Time and The Ladies of Missalonghi. Total comfort books for me. A few more lesser known titles, too, some which are a little embarrassing. :-)
