I’d be so with you if not for the timing. If closet mom is ready to bring a LOT drama, TLC wouldn’t have shown half the season without her.
That’s not to say that they aren’t already setting them up for a future season, but from a production standpoint, if they had the footage of her being another Debbie, they’d be milking the hell out of it
I think a lot of people forget that these are two kids that have been traumatized their whole lives and obviously never taught a single thing about financial literacy. They’ve been failed by every single adult in their lives.
I don’t think this absolves them of everything - we’re all responsible for our own growth - but I think it’s important to remember
