Gotta say, the show took Donald from a character I barely bothered to remember (even when he appeared in the Guardians spin-off comics), to one I’m absolutely enthralled to watch.
Kirkman and company are absolutely cooking right now. S2 thus far has done everything better than the original and that’s saying something.
How am I supposed to feel about Robot? Because they make him do the most heinous, tyrannical, and cruel shit, add on him attempting to genocide a bloodline out of petty jealousy, and then Kirkman tries to tell me that ultimately Robot is right and Earth is better off with a “benevolent” super-genius shadow dictator and in fact Robot is so smart and correct in his decisions that him and the Immortal working together as eternal autocrats is the best possible leadership for Earth.
What’s the message here?
