1 year agoI have all the Harry Potter books on audible and play them to fall asleep. It works well for me because the old British voice puts me to sleep pretty easily and I don’t think about what I have to do tomorrow or work. I just think about like, why would dumbledore not keep a closer eye on Harry when he knew how dangerous things were for him? And I’m always hung up on if lupin had given dumbledore the marauders map instead of Harry they could keep everyone so much safer for the rest of the books! But it keeps my mind off of stressing about stupid stuff in life and that’s helpful. Before tv everyone used books to cope with life and their emotions so don’t feel bad about it, op!
Moby Dick. It’s the reason I switched my major in college from American lit to British lit. That book is a nightmare
