Cross-media examination is (in my opinion) great. Being afraid to research media you like, because spoilers, hinders so much enjoyment of the media. Like, oh no, you aren’t surprised omni-mam sucks, but then you get to analyze why he sucks before it happens. That’s even more gratifying, imo.
