1 year agoI only finished it bc I had to for college. If I hadn’t had to read it for an essay, I would drop it on the first page.
I only finished it bc I had to for college. If I hadn’t had to read it for an essay, I would drop it on the first page.
If I can read the original, it is always my first choice. If not, I always search for a translation to my mother tongue. If it doesn’t have one, I go for English that I have an easier time reading, as it is my second language.
The one I’m currently reading: Amar, Verbo Intransitivo, from Mário de Andrade. Dear lord I’m hating it and just keep reading bc the story is actually cool, his writing style that sucks for me, so I can put up with the writing to find out what happens in the story
I fell in love with Mysteries of Udolpho, by Ann Radcliffe. As far as I can tell it is the oldest I have read and truly loved
