I think it’s happy from others perspectives like you’ve said. But from Bojacks it’s really sad. Basically everyone he’s known (expect Mr. PB lol) wants nothing to do with him on a close level anymore. The talk with Diane on the roof was sad to me, like after all that he just wants to talk and rant and vent to/with her but he’ll never be able to again after that. All the relationships he’s built with the people are basically gone and now just surface level (again except Mr. PB). Idk just really sad to me when I think of it from Bojacks side.
