She took the money for something irrelevant and lied directly about it, even asking her former bf (who seems way too close to her for some odd reason) for extra money, which she also omitted from Gino.
Then in that talk she made herself appear as a victim and of course Gino would try to cheer her up, exactly what she wanted. When you do all of that and even manage to have your significant other apologize, you are a master manipulator.
