Anne of Green Gables. It always seemed like a book I wouldn’t like but I finally read it at age 33…I was totally moved by that sweet little girl with big dreams and I sobbed at the end. Now it is one of my favorite books! I’ve only read the first one though, not the whole series.

I know I’m decades late, but I finally read The Hobbit and the first two LOTR. Working on finishing The Return of the King now. I have really enjoyed them and I can understand why they are fantasy classics. I just don’t think I could appreciate them when I tried reading them at a younger age.
