do think Mark did a bit too well in his fight, but I agree that the Viltrumites didn’t look weak

you haven’t read the comics. Its not that they look weak overall, they are just weak compared to how strong they need to be for the future story beats to make sense.

just to give an example say there is a story about a dragon and a knight. IF you show the dragon being pierced and seriously hurt by just normal arrows early on in the series it negates the point of the knight going on a journey to get a magical sword. This and other parts of the show do that, they negate the viltimites as a threat.

the problem with this is that an important part of the latter part of the series only works if noland is of avg viltrimte strength.
