  • I’d shop at a thrift shop owned by a small church. They’d have a regular customer come in (male), he’d try on a bunch of women’s clothes and not put it away. It made the very conservative guy at the counter angry. Oddly only because he didn’t put the clothes away, seemed to be blocking out the women’s clothes part mentally. 😂. There were a few women who worked at the church, they ran a planned parenthood knockoff. Always had a few pregnant girls around. They’d talk about telling the girls whatever they wanted to hear to, “save the baby”. Completely wrong behavior in my opinion. Women should have access to accurate information. They could care less about that though. Lie through their teeth, and probably kick them to the curb once the baby was born. lol. I’d go inside there and take anything of value, for as cheap as possible.

  • I’ve always done a gamut around my state to thrift shops. Search through their books and find ones to sell/read. Probably the cheapest place to find them, and generally that’s where the books you find on websites come from honestly. They’re charging you for convenience and storing them.

Looked it up, think goodwill may have an actual goodwillbooks website. Maybe a good place?

  • I think as humans we always worry about the wrong thing. The Internet was a random science class project when I was in school. Seemed somewhat dumb when they explained it to me. It turned into social media which has been an eyesore of humanity. But what will AI lead to? I’m having issues finding actual reviews videos. A lot of it just ends up being video clips with a person’s voice who sounds too consistent. You can already spot the stuff, it often lacks soil on a certain level.

But rest assured, whatever you’re worried about happening will likely not happen. It’s probably far more likely ai warfare or some sort will destabilize economies and kill us all before it interrupts our leisure reading.
