Great Gatsby is mine. It was so boring and pointless, still can’t bring myself to give it another shot. I absolutely love To Kill a Mockingbird on the other hand, it’s up on my tops list.

The Great Gatsby. Can’t stand it. Hate it. Even the movie. I remember dreading reading my assigned chapters and often times just not doing it and taking the loss. This was before the time of internet so it’s not like I could just go search up a chapter summary. Cliff notes weren’t very popular either, and I didn’t know they even existed until I got into college.

Doesn’t help that the guy on the cover looks exactly like a customer. Luckily our customer is 100% normal and proven to be so.
I remember really wanting to read it from seeing the book cover at Borders when it first came out. I opened it and read the first couple of pages there in the store to see if it would hook me and I could never get into it. I don’t mind the movies, I just can’t get the books started.
