People use “abandonment issue” so flippantly that they don’t realize that having a crisis over perceived abandonment (for those that deal with this issue) is literally like your brain regresses to a time in development where being left alone meant literal death (eg. a baby that cannot fend for themselves ) - the reaction looks so over the top and ridiculous because it’s as if in that moment she is 1-4 years old … because in that moment she literally is
