Brave New World. I read it in 11th grade and unless misremembered/misinterpreted it, there were absurd amounts of references to children having sex and playing sex games. It made me wildly uncomfortable. For the life of me I couldn’t understand why a room of 16 year olds were being made to read it. And then on top of that I just had a really hard time comprehending it at all, which exacerbated the problem with wanting to get past all the child sex in the beginning
This made me look up why the EDM DJ’s named themselves Zeds Dead, and it’s a Pulp Fiction reference. Thanks!
