I had a book of short stories long ago and each story was told from the points of view of both characters in each story. It was very human and was a bit of a life lesson on how the same events are viewed differently by others. I can’t possibly recall the title. Sorry.
Epistlatory novels are not rare but a favorite of mine is Fair and Tender Ladies by Lee Smith. The twist here is that the protagonist is an uneducated girl who writes poorly, spells badly, but expresses real emotion and life and then she begins to learn how to write, spell, use proper grammar, and that’s despite her very hard life. I really enjoyed this one a lot.
“Trail of the Lost”, about searching for long lost hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail. Before that it was a novel. I read novels, history and other nonfiction. I started reading before I started grade school. My dad would sit me on his lap and read the newspaper to me, pointing out words. Comic books, like Donald Duck and Superman were my early favorites. I’ve always read.
