The dinosaurs were also written more as just scary monsters, with a lack of the respect/beauty of them the movie had.

I have a couple of books like this. The Discworld books, especially Feet of Clay and Small Gods. Good Omens. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle. Song of Achilles, and Circe. Persian Fire, Perfume, Fevre Dream, The Hobbit.

I listen to the audiobooks of all of them. I put them on to help me sleep. I play The Hobbit in the car when I’m having a really long and difficult drive. And when life is really rough, I’ll put one of these books on, curl up in bed, and just disappear for a few hours.

It’s not quite time travel, but a sort of groundhog’s day situation.

7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle.

A very interesting and fun mystery. It harkens back to cozy Victorian style mystery stories without just copying them and providing a modern writing quality and sense of humor. And it’s main gimmick is pretty refreshing.
