You’re doing the right thing. You’re walking the same road that every other person who ever learned to study and deeply appreciate literature has.

And the examples you’ve chosen are not easy texts. There’s a reason they’re both taught in college literature courses, so don’t beat yourself up because learning hard texts is hard!
