I’m new to the cozy mystery genre (usually I go for sci-fi or other spec fiction), but Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers on Audible was an absolute pleasure.

The narrator is prodigious with voices, and the character Vera lives in my head as a mixture of a grandmother I wish I had and someone who makes me shake my head at her complete lack of shame-in a good way.

I loved Hurley’s The Light Brigade.
