I don’t know if it’s edits or if there are limits to what they can show from a therapy session but it seemed like in the last episode the therapist was just translating what Ashley said - which like, she speaks Spanish herself already.
But this episode, even the therapist seemed to be like “wait wtf” when Ashley dropped that he doesn’t even want her meeting his kids.
It truly, cannot be that good. I just cannot fathom this man showing enough passion in anything to make it that good.

Honestly, her commentary was also the talk that half the people on this show need to hear.
And I think it’s a valid stance.
I think they both have some flaws - everyone does. There are clearly some mismatches and continuing gaps on him coming around on her coming out. But I think Nikki is right that the biggest problem is that they maybe just aren’t a good fit. She wants a certain lifestyle. He wants another. Nobody is necessarily the bad person but it’s maybe just not actually a good fit. I think she just wants the version of him she met when he was young and focused on having fun. And he’s thinking she’ll change into a different person than she is.

Him talking about how it’s actually so hard for him and that’s why it happened while the camera just stayed on Sophie’s face. She didn’t say anything but I feel like I heard every line of her internal dialogue still.
