At the very least she should easily incapacitate any armored threats, possibly non-flying threats (turn ground into quicksand sort of deal) besides some really powerful ones. A beast (like Hail Mary or something like Rognarrs) would pose a lot of problems for her though.
I really hope they acknowledge that maybe Eve unwittingly went into a sort of stale suboptimal fighting style, or at the very least try to justify her style, something like “actually the pink energy field stuff is way less exhausting for her to do than matter transmutation, so she’s defaulting to it for stamina” or some bs like that
I think they’ll leave it as is, Eve just has to deal with risking people’s lives, whether that particular pair survives or not wouldn’t change that
That’s issue #10, he does appear near #117, in #97 and also very briefly in #100), but it’s a different interaction, though the repeating panels joke is repeated.
Filip Schaff, the character posing as the author’s self insert, does appear in #10, #97, and #100. However this page where he lampshades the fact he repeats panels is from #10.
In #97 Mark does meet him again and they lampshade a need for something overly dramatic needed for a hundredth issue that may alienate the readers, though the repeating panel joke is done again, but different from here. In #100 he serves as a minor part of the collage of dramatic reactions to what happened in that issue.
Were there any second thoughts about directly doing the narration bit during the production? It was pretty fun, but also kind of out of the blue for show-only audiences. Were you set on having it from the get-go or was there some discussion over it?
