  • I think regardless of media type it’s important to set expectations when recommending something. If I told you one of my fav movies starred an academy award winner and was about a blended family overcoming obstacles and finding happiness you might have certain expectations going into it. If I told you that movie was “Stepbrothers” your expectations might change 😂 I always like giving people context when making recommendations

    I see this mostly in romance books but when two, grown adult characters act like teenagers who don’t know how love / relationships work 🙃 It’s one thing if the characters are young but you’re telling me you are 30+ years old and don’t know how to act?? (To be fair that’s prob realistic for some people lol)
