Did not expect this name. Singularity and Interstellar Pig blew my young mind. Many years later I had a “what was that book” moment and now they’re both on my shelf, and they hold up as an adult. They would never get published today in their category.

The Last House On Needless Street. How the fuck did “hE hAs MuLtiPLe PeRsOnAliTy diSoRdEr” pass muster in this day and age? And anyway you see it coming from a mile away. I felt simultaneously bloated and empty at the end of that book, the way you do when you have chips and coke instead of a meal.
