Who are you to tell Black activists whether their terminology is “over” or not?
“Woke” originated in the Black community in the 1940s and was a common term for describing awareness of even subtle racial discrimination. It was then appropriated by White activists in the 2010s and applied to virtually every form of social justice. Which in turn led to conservatives using it as a catch-all term for everything progressives support.
TL;DR - White folk (liberal and conservative) ruined a term used by Black folk.
