I try to but I usually get distracted by something else. However, I read the sequel to The Lies of Lock Lamora and was so let down by it that I doubt I’ll read another sequel again 😂.

I did the same thing with The Goldfinch! Normally a genre fiction fan but I took a gamble on it and loved it.
As I’m getting older my book tastes have shifted more towards historical fiction, history and unusual travel writing (away from fantasy and sci fi.)
I did pick up Cleopatra and Frankenstein recently which is way out of my comfort zone because it’s a ‘ladybook’ but I just have to know why it is called that!
