I was hoping someone would post this.

What a terrible book. Literally every event is solved with a random, never-before-seen asspull and the whole idea that a 17 year old has had the time to study a decade’s worth of content - all of the content - multiple times to have full memory of it is so stupid it broke all suspension of disbelief. At the very least they could have given everyone memory modules or something.

The movie is so much better that it’s not even worth the time to read the book.

Chariots of the Gods - or at least the version I read. It was 90% the author complaining about his ideas not being accepted and how science is too narrow-minded rather than presenting the evidence.
