Doesn’t he do something in tech for a living? Is he really struggling to pay >$700 a month in rent for a tiny place? Can’t get an upgrade with a spare room?

What boggles my mind (and I get that this is kind of a premise for the show) is that it seems like she’s done ZERO research into anything before moving there. Like girl, just Google “traditional Indian Wedding” to get a general idea of what you’re in for. She LIVED there previous and still seems like a complete fish out of water.
