One of my favorite books is Warm Bodies by Issac Marion. Yes, there is a book that the zombie rom-com is based on… But it’s a very different book. While the core story is the same, Warm Bodies is an exploration of human connection and how a lack of empathy and care breeds the worst in humanity. It is beautifully written and shows the struggle to connect with others, and how we’re all kind of fucked up. It’s really hard to explain just how well written the book is, and how meaningful it is to me, so I think it’s better I just drop a quote.
