I agree. My husband is a frugal engineer. He bought a fixer upper house rather young and kept piling up money until we met and then he let me pick all the house updates and everything. It worked out great, but he would NEVER be on board with me getting a BBL. Has no problem with me spending his money, but I think a frugal mind will always be frugal.
