Works of Bob Ong for me (Philippines)

His works are very funny and very tongue-in-cheek. It’s just difficult to translate the novels due to the amount of Filipino culture references and slangs that would lose its humor.

My personal faves are “Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas” (Judas’ Favorite Book) and "Abnkkbsnplako!” (read as “Wow! I Can Finally Read!”

“MacArthur” and “Kapitan Sino” (“Captain Who”) made me bawl my eyes out tho.

Edgar Allan Poe because YES

Suzanne Collins because I cannot get over The Hunger Games series. I don’t mind rereading it again and again.

Third one’s tough, but I’ll probably go with Jane Austen for her wit
