I might be alone here but I don’t think Manuel is that bad. But I also think we don’t know him that well—and he can be a bit machismo. Unlike many of the others—it seems like he had his life together and is pretty honest about his situation. Time will tell if he gets a job, etc. A big green flag for me was the scene when they went grocery shopping and how he offers to make coffee, etc. he’s trying to be respectful of her money(unlike a lot of others). And honestly I love my dog—but he has a point about the money for animals vs family.
