Probably one of the best books out there, regardless of the number of pages.

For me, it is a timeless work that just can be read by a little kid, a teenager, an office worker, a divorcee, a grandparent etc. and somehow be relevant and touching.

The book is also unique in a way that it comes with illustrations that give a mix of both surreal and realistic vibe.

Thanks for this insight. This is my favorite novel and favorite ending. I love how Edmond Dantes was allowed to be a little bit more selfish in order to find his happiness in the end.
