Despite working out for them TL was basically a way for them to avoid repatriating money earned in the UK (Disney was pretty good at doing this too over the years). The bonus is we got a great show and they got a very successful product out of it. It was win/win for Apple and us. A similar show filmed in the US wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for them right now. Another one set in UK though or maybe another country where they make a crap ton of revenue and don’t want to pay taxes on bringing that money back to the US …
