I do think that there is a significant distinction between a person being frail, and or having had broken bones a number of times, vs having a disease.
If the protagonist has a known disease which exists in whatever reality the story takes place in, and the character themselves is aware of what that disease is as well as the fact they have it, I would find it odd that the book doesn’t contain that information.
So my question would be: Is she weak, frail, and potentially accident prone? Or does she actually have a disease or condition which is a known entity in her reality?
