I love them! I just reread the whole series and it’s a hoot. And yes, they definitely have enough information in them to both create an interesting setting and to give them great context for the time they are referencing.

I think this thread should be a good illustration that before we assume someone else is mispronouncing a word, we should always check to see if either we are the ones mispronouncing it or if there are multiple pronunciations.
