2·16 days agoTo kickstart the thing: I finished the second season of “Murder Mindfully” on Netflix. Really dropped in quality compared to the first season. It seems that everyone antagonist (the villain of the season, the henchmen, etc) are made to be incompetent so that everything can work out well to the main character. Gave me serious OG Dexter flashbacks.

2·1 month agoSorry, just got back from my trip and didn’t get time to respond before. Thank you for the suggestions, though. I ended up downloading Project Hail Mary, F1 (which they had on the entertainment system), and (to follow your Shakespeare theme) Anyone but You.

I’m midway through the first season of Hawk on Netflix. I can always enjoy Will Ferrel’s absurd humor, but it’s hard to get over the fact that all Netflix-produced shows are so dumbed down. All the major plot points seem to be telegraphed from a mile away, the set-ups for the jokes are twice as long as they need to be, and it takes a lot of suspension of disbelief to accept some of the situations that drive the story.
