I have never met a remote oil rig worker that didn’t have an addiction issue. His not wanting to work closer to home/be at home more is another big tell. I hope he gets himself into rehab before their little girl starts to really understand what’s going on or he puts himself in an early grave.

Should he have hid it from her? No, but Danielle set the precedent of lying and hiding things from him before she even got to the DR. She landed and told the cameras that she had told him they were going to apply to live in the US, but that wasn’t true at all. All while he is standing right behind her smiling without a clue. I have no sympathy for her at this point because all he is doing is treating her the same way she treats him. Karmas a b**ch.

You can technically retire at any age. Doesn’t mean you’ll have the money to live without working. Gino has worked as an engineer in the auto industry and likely has a nice pension. He may sacrifice some things retiring at his age but it’s possible. As someone else mentioned; he could have retired from his regular position and moved to 1099 private contacting making a much higher wage and giving him flexibility in hours and terms.
