I knew the reviews weren’t good but I was like “How bad can it be?”. The answer was so much worse than I could have ever imagined.

As someone with a complete collection of the books, and having read and loved them pretty much since they first came out and my sister lent me the first one, every time I think of this movie I cant help but get angry. Much angrier than I got when the last book came out and it turned out to be from a new publisher and doesn’t fit the rest of the set that had those cool glittery covers.

I kinda liked Dan Brown’s books. Mostly when I was mentally tired and wanted a book that I could pretty much finish in an evening. Also because they often trigger been-there seen-that moments when culturally relevant sites are mentioned.

Yeah, they’re basically pulp on more expensive paper.
