I think it’s extremely possible to like someone less after seeing the way they live. Especially with his mom in the damn closet. That would make me seriously question who I was about to settle down with and turn me off hugely.

Igor’s girl friend was soooo graceful with Nikki and didn’t make her feel awkward despite her lack of boundaries. It was pretty impressive hahaha

Yeah, it’s sad. I think he’s just deeply confused and trying to find the spark he felt for her before he knew the truth. They built an emotional and physical bond and then she disclosed her transness after the fact. Which is categorically dishonest and can leave someone feeling absolutely violated.

I think he is genuinely trying to put aside his gut reaction, which is that he only wants to be with a woman who was born with female parts. I truly think he is chasing the spark he had for this person that he truly cares for still, but the way his brain is reframing her in the present day doesn’t seem to be turning him on. If you compare older photos of Nikki vs what she looks like today, her look back then was more subdued and less obviously surgical altered. I think her current exaggerated features probably highlight the fact that she wasn’t in fact born with any of it.
