Yeah, I’m a weirdo. I liked it. Tried a couple other books of hers and was not impressed. Like, it wasn’t great by any stretch, but it kept me interested right from the start.

The only good thing about that book was the ending. Seriously, fuck that stupid ass kid.

The Awakening by Kate Chopin. And A Man Called Ove.

I dragged my feet on that one for some reason, even though I liked everything else I had read by him. Just didn’t sound interesting at first. I can easily say it’s my favorite of his so far. It’s been a couple years, but I read it in wintertime and that really set the mood.
