Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality was kind of written to address all the complaints about the poor decisions made by Rowling’s characters. It’s actually pretty good.

I haven’t read the books but now have to read some Wikipedia pages.

They rewrite the Bible every few years to make it “accessible” in modern lingo. One of them (TLT) is actually 50% longer due to all the added material. Then they all lambast each other in a circular firing squad.
