Highly recommend ‘House of the Mosque’ by Kader Abdollah, I dont think I’ve ever finished a book so quickly. This one really stuck with me, maybe because it is so different to the world I know.
Great to get a grasp of events and sentiments in Iran in the later half of the 20th century. It’s so beautifully written, and because it concerns a whole family with multiple generations you see a lot of different angles to it.
