This is something I don’t quite get about how Viltrum works.
Okay, so they fought a brutal civil war to get rid of “the weak.” But where does this stop? As long as there’s more than two Viltrumites, one of them can be proven weaker than the other. So they ought to be like Romulans, absolutely no loyalty/constantly scheming and ready to stab each other in the back in an instant just in case they need to be the stronger one in any given situation.
How does a top down Imperial system even work for them? Is there a point where it’s like “okay, you’ve done enough, I respect it, you’re a Strong Viltrumite so I won’t kill you, come be a part of my Imperial court?” We all know how well that worked for Caesar, for instance.
It doesn’t make sense at all that they would be loyal to the strongest guy, because the strongest guy would kill them in the blink of an eye if he didn’t already do so to get to the position of being the strongest guy.
