If I didn’t track my books I would read the same amount in a year which is still over a hundred. What’s average for someone who loves to read and consume books as their hobby is going to be different from someone who might read one book a year for fun. I can’t just read one or two or five books a year. The pull for the next one is too strong. If I’m not in the middle of at least one book, my brain can’t stop thinking about the next one. But for my hobby I’m average. I know people who feel that same passion and read over 200 books a year.
