It’s unlikely! “Twin flame” is also a woo concept that sometimes comes up in New Age spirituality and astrology circles. My intro to it, for instance, was a woman who definitely isn’t in any groups explaining the concept in terms of her own relationship. It’s pretty casually used when people are talking about (1) their normal relationship because they don’t know about the specifics of the supposed dynamic (2) their anxious-avoidant ass relationships that they aren’t ready to leave yet
