Hard sci-fi, soft, YA, Sci-fi Fantasy. I thought Project Hail Mary was a fun and easy-going read. The audio book narrated by Ray Porter is great as well. If you are looking for any reading similar, I highly suggest We Are Legion by Dennis E. Taylor (Bobiverse book 1) and Old Man’s War by John Scalzi. linkfedilink
